While there are no primary relics of the Theotokos due to the Dormition during which, according to the witness of the holy Apostle Thomas, her body was taken up into the heavens three days after she was laid in the tomb. There are how ever secondary relics such as, the holy belt of the Theotokos and the holy robe.
